INTRODUCTION TO DRAWING
ASSIGNMENT 1 - Introduction to Technical Drawings
For this assignment, we had to choose an object and draw the orthogonal drawings of the object in 1:1 scale. The technical drawings include 1 plan view, 3 elevations and 1 sectional drawing of the chosen object in two-dimension. This assignment aims to instigate the skill for us to observe, interpret, record, organise and describe the object through our drawing. Also, through this assignment, we will be able to establish our ability to translate the three-dimensional object into two-dimensional orthographic drawings.

The briefing for this assignment was given in the first week. Followed by that, we had to choose a suitable object to work on this assignment and get it approved by our lecturer.

Reflection
Through this assignment, I have learned to draw a three-dimensional object in two-dimensional orthographic drawings. Even though this task at first seemed easy, later on, I understood it also involves taking a lot of details of the object into account and using the correct technique to draw to make sure the precision of the drawing.
